ABS Staff Players Win the Japan Open. 11/18/2007

Sekine (left) and Yamamoto (right) holding the Rising. Isao Yamamoto and Naoko Sekine, both ABS Pro Staff bowlers, won the men’s and women’s championships in the Japan Open held on November 4th. This tournament is one of the biggest bowling events in Japan, and more than 1,000 bowlers played for the honor of the championship and the prize of the total sum of 30,000,000 yen.

Yamamoto and Sekine chose Track “The Rising” as the main ball for the finals. Paul Figliomeni, Track brand manager, said “We knew the Rising was a special ball. To see it perform so well on a prestigious international stage is just a sign of things to come,” according to the Track website (http://www.trackbowling.com/).
